This week, in part one, we cover The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata. It's a "slow burn" with a former personal assistant turned full-time graphic designer and the Canadian football star who wants her back in his employ.. or life? Will they get together after a scheme to commit marriage fraud together? 

This is, indeed, a slow burn. Emphasis on slow? We... tried to love this novel. And it didn't quite work.
